F04 Protect is a specialized protective product for gauges & cutting tools that prevents impact damage and corrosion.
This product is engineered to safeguard parts & fragile components by encasing them in a thick protective layer, effectively shielding surfaces from impacts. It also provides excellent protection against humidity and corrosion.
It maintains a pasty consistency for 20 seconds before starting to harden to a final flexible consistency.
At this stage it is no longer malleable and holds in place as close to the surface as possible, providing perfect protection and sealing. It is therefore easy to use to protect a large number of parts at the same time.
F04 Protect in cartridges is used on its own and only requires the dispensing gun to be used. It’s the best way to try the application.
It’s important to note that F04 Protect is not intended for standard Plastiform applications, as it’s a specialized product within the range. Always consult a Plastiform expert to ensure it meets your specific requirements!
This product is used in conjunction with the Application GUn (both DM-50 and DB-50) to protect fragile elements such as gauges, cutting tools, or any other parts that need protection.
To use it, you need Special Nozzles provided with the cartridges and a dispensing gun:
- Degrease the element to protect using the DN1,
- Mount the cartridge on your dispensing gun,
- Mount the special nozzles at the end of the cartridge,
- Start protecting your element,
- Wait 30-45 seconds and it’s ready for storage.
Be careful, the product may harden inside the nozzle. If this happens, you will need to change the nozzle.
To prevent waste, we strongly advise using a custom most to protect all your tools at once using only the required volume of product you need.
