BARCOL HARDNESS TESTER

Very handy instrument to check the hardness of many materials such as plastics, polyesters, leather, soft metals etc.

When pressure is applied to the device, a point penetrates the material, and the degree of hardness is displayed on a dial graduated from 0 to 100.

It can test from only one side of the workpiece.

Its not necessary to move or support the work piece.

Easy conversion test results to HB, HR, HV, and HW.

Available in 3 versions:

934: For soft metals, aluminium and aluminium alloys, also used to test fiber reinforced plastics and hard plastics with ASTM D2583

935: For plastics and very soft materials,lead, tin...

936: For extremely soft materials, e.g. leather, rubber, wood etc.
