Wireless temperature and humidity datalogger            RADIO DATALOGGERS

Newsteo offers a range of radio transmitters and recorders (dataloggers) for measuring temperature, humidity and dew point.

  • Newsteo LOG20 , LOG22 & LOG25: small compact recorders and radio transmitters for measuring temperature and humidity. Ideal for indoor use.
  • Newsteo LGR64: temperature and humidity wireless recorder with sensor flush with the case. Ideal for use in a harsh environment and / or condensing atmosphere.
  • Newsteo LGR32 + probe : recorder and radio transmitter for temperature and humidity. The sensor is placed at the end of a probe, which is itself connected to the housing.

Newsteo Logger LOG20, LOG22, LOG25,
data logger for wireless measure of temperature, humidity and dew point

Compact datalogger

The Newsteo temperature and humidity logger is a wireless device which enables to oversee at distance the temperature and the humidity of an environment. Then, this temperature and humidity datalogger can transfer the data directly on a receiving station (monitoring computer, gateway) by radio frequencies or can store the data in its memory.

The product is available into 3 versions depending on the needed precision:
  • LOG20 : Temperature sensor accuracy : +/- 0.5°C and Humidity sensor : +/- 4.5% , dew point temperature
  • LOG22 : Temperature sensor accuracy : +/- 0.4°C and Humidity sensor : +/- 3% , dew point temperature
  • LOG25 : Temperature sensor accuracy : +/- 0.3°C and Humidity sensor : +/- 2% , dew point temperature
TEMPERATURE & HUMIDITY PROBE FOR WIRELESS MEASUREMENTS
INDUSTRIAL WIRELESS TRANSMITTER
HIGH ACCURACY
Newsteo Logger LGR64,
datalogger with temperature, humidity and dew point sensors

The Data Logger LGR64 is a logger with a protection level of IP 65 and equipped with an external sensor for temperature and humidity, above the casing.
The Logger whether transmits instantaneously the data to a receiving station (computer, gateway) or stocks them into its onboard memory.

Newsteo Logger LGR32,
with external temperature and humidity probe

The Newsteo temperature and humidity datalogger with probe is a standalone recorder, battery powered, which delivers real-time measurements to a supervisory position. Temperature and humidity sensors are digital sensors, enabling high accuracy (± 0.2 ° C & ± 1.8%) and a use in condensing atmosphere.

The Newsteo radio receiver for PC : RF to USB key

This USB device connects to the USB port of a PC and communicates with all Newsteo radio dataloggers.

  • RF-to-USB key is delivered with Windows drivers
  • Once driver first installed, the RF-to-USB key behaves as a plug’n’play standard removable device
  • USB 1.1 high speed (USB 2.0 host compatible)
  • The RF-to-USB key is marketed with the measurement display software: the RF Monitor software
  • Powered by PC (no internal battery)
  • 1/4 wave antenna. The 1/4 wavelength antenna of the key is screwed thanks to a SMA connector. It is very easy to connect other types of antenna to increase range: see Newsteo antennas.
  • Up to 800 m coverage in free space and up to 5 concrete walls with metallic structure penetration
Ethernet or GPRS collector: the gateway between the radio loggers and a database on your network
The  Newsteo Collector allows remote collection, through Ethernet (IP) or  GPRS (GSM network), of data coming from several Newsteo loggers, and  storage on a remote secured server.
The Newsteo Collector exists in several versions, for indoor or outdoor uses, with a main power supply or solar panels supply.

Solutions to increase the system's RF range.

Communication between Newsteo radio products and reception center (PC  with RF-to-USB key) can sometimes be perturbed by obstacle or too high  distance. ach.
To improve the transmission between loggers, pc and webmonitor, we can propose you different solutions :
- repeater : they will be installed mid-way, acting as radio relay for all products out of radio reach ;
- or a  choice of antennas.
Newsteo Radio Protocol: No Lost Measurement
Your precious data are secured with our Central Monitoring System.

We are aware of the importance of your measurements.
For all the companies we are working with, this is the key need.
Temperature monitoring during blood transportation, humidity in pharmaceutical laboratories, current measurement of an engine ... we ensure in all our products the back-up of your measurements (unlike many competing solutions ... ).

• Each time a radio recorder sends its measurement, it waits for an acknowledgment of the receiver. If it does not receive the acknowledgment, it tries again 2 times to transmit its measurement.
• If the measurement could not be transmitted, the recorder stores it and tries to transmit it one minute later.
• In all cases, whether transmitted or not, the recorder keeps the last 32,000 measurements in its internal memory, thus ensuring a local backup of the data.

RF Monitor Premium : the convenient powerful MMI tool

The Newsteo RF Monitor gives the opportunity to remotely configure and control the distant wireless Newsteo products.

Software versions:
  • RF Monitor Premium: for single-site installations. The loggers communicate to a PC, the measurements are displayed only on this PC.
  • RF Monitor Gold: for multi-site installations. Several Loggers networks are created. Each system communicates to a PC that transmits the measurement to a central database. From anywhere in the world, it is possible to connect to the database to check the measurements. This consultation is possible with free software DB Monitor.
  • CFR 21 part 11 option: available either on the Premium or Gold version, the CFR option adds a module for a complete tracking of each action done on the software.
Data storage on the Cloud
THE PERFECT CUSTOMER'S SOLUTION

The Newsteo offer of hosting measures in the Cloud allows immediate start up of the solution and also allows you to enjoy exclusive services, such as receiving a database backup each year.

1. The Newsteo Collector send the measurements on the Newsteo platform , where they are stored.
    • For the collector, the equipment is delivered pre-configured, there is no database installation to perform
    • No network skill required
    • 4GB Database
    • Several collectors may send their measurements to a single database. Therefore, only one subscription is necessary
    2. The user accesses when he wants to measurements:
  • Access to measurements can be performed using DB Monitor software provided by Newsteo or by using the web supervision application: Webmonitor, available on the internet.
    • Access 24 hours on 24, 7 days on 7 to the loggers measurements
    • Secured access, ID and password required
  • 3. The platform can send alerts or reports:
    • Using Webmonitor:
Immediate email alerts when threshold is exceeded on a logger
Sending of a PDF report each week, including all measures and alerts detected by the logger
    • Using the DB Monitor software: immediate alerts by email when a threshold is exceeded in a logger
    4. Management of the platform by Newsteo:
    • Database backups made by Newsteo
    • Once a year, sending of a DVD including all measurements of the year
Test the web monitor application :
  • Connect to the website www.newsteo-webmonitor.com
  • Enter the database : client
  • Enter the password : client
  • That is, measurements of that user’s data loggers are displayed
  • Here under display of the webmonitor
