Oxygen absorbers - an active packaging solution designed to absorb all oxygen contained in the package of food.
This product removes oxygen and maintains level of it less 0.01%.
This is new highly efficient product, which prevents mold growth and extending products’ shelf life in a natural way.

Oxygen absorbers are a new method of prolonging the freshness of the products.
Its main component is activated iron powder.
It retains the freshness of the product by absorbing oxygen, is environmentally friendly and therefore widely used.
In addition to individual sachets, for easy use, oxygen sinks are delivered in bobbins for installation on packing equipment.

Applications
Widely used in food storage: confectionery, ground nut, mushrooms, dried meat, chilled meat and dried fish, tea, herbs
When storing medicines: tablets, herbs.
When storing art and architecture:


How it works:
When the shelf life of the product should be extended, the oxygen absorber is put in the packaging before sealing along with the products.
After 1-2 days, the concentration of oxygen in the package falls below 0.1%.
Then the oxygen absorber will absorb oxygen, which slightly seeps through the packaging.
Thus, the almost oxygen-free state will be maintained inside the package.
And oxygen is vital for microorganisms (bacteria and mold), and is necessary for the decomposition of proteins and fats.
This is how the freshness of the product is extended.
Types of absorbers :

Type U (universal)
This type of oxygen absorber is suitable for various industries in the absence of a specific requirement for oxygen absorption rate.

Type q (with rapid oxygen absorption)
This type of oxygen absorber quickly absorbs oxygen.

Type B (absorbs oxygen and carbon dioxide)
This type absorbs oxygen and carbon dioxide at the same time, prevents taste changes and extends the life of the packaging.

Type D (absorbs oxygen and H2O)
Type O (without iron content)
This absorber uses iron-free materials that can absorb oxygen and release carbon dioxide.
Suitable for products that must pass through metal detectors or are used after heating in the microwave.

Type I (oxygen absorber with indicator)
TIP STAY FRESH (Absorbs O2; CO2; C2H2) This absorbs acidic gas to stop the anaerobic breathing of microorganisms on vegetables, stop rotting and remove unpleasant odor.


Choice:

1) If products need to be protected from moisture exposure, use moisture absorbers
2) The amount of oxygen absorber can be calculated based on the amount of oxygen that needs to be absorbed.
Here's the formula for calculating:   Oxygen volume (container volume - content weight/ specific gravity) x 20%           

Instructions for use:
- oxygen absorber packaging is open no more than two hours before the product is sealed.
If not all absorbers are used, they should be hermetically packed
- The less permeability of the packaging material with oxygen, the longer the vacuuming effect will last
-   For optimal results, the permeability of the packaging material by oxygen should be below 50 ml/m2 for 24 hours at 25°C.
